Job Description

Our client is a leading FMCG seeking exceptional Operations Director – Flexible on Location / National Coverage

The Operations Director is a crucial role and will have full P & L responsibility for a number of large contracts. You will be fully accountable for overall operational performance and implementation of operational changes.

The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in customer relationship management, and a good record of growing profitability within a multi-site business.

  • Successfully build external relationships particularly with key customers
  • Retain a high level of customer retention
  • Develop and coach a team of GM’s
  • Deliver against strategic goals and targets
  • Ensure best in class Health and Safety
  • Work closely with senior management to define strategic objectives

The Person

Key Skills:

  • Senior Logistics Experience
  • 3PL, FMCG experience
  • Track record in operational delivery and excellence
  • Proven record of leading commercial change
  • Successful delivery of multi-site operations
  • Experience of retail or FMCG environments
  • Strong business and commercial acumen
  • A pro-active leader

Salary on Offer

£120,000 – £135,000 + Excellent Package
